The Society for the History of Navy Medicine counts among its members medical professionals both military and civilian, active and retired; academicians and graduate students; independent scholars; and people interested in supporting research, study and writing about any and all aspects of the history of medicine of navies or of the maritime environment.
At present, the cost of membership is low–the time it takes to fill out and return the Society Membership Interest Form. Print the form and send it by mail, or email it to the Executive Director at historyofnavymedicine@gmail.com. We look forward to welcoming you aboard!
In 2010, we instituted a program of voluntary dues-donations. If you wish to help support the work of the Society (our first goal is to establish an annual travel grant for a student who presents a paper at our Annual Meeting and papers Session), you can send your tax-deductible donation with your application. Annual dues is $20; a Lifetime Membership of $250 is also available.
